Social Media Policy

At Sufyan Mussood Studios, we take pride in showcasing the visual work we create across various platforms including social media, websites, presentations, and portfolios. This policy outlines how we use the content we produce and what rights clients have in relation to its usage.

1. Ownership of Content

All photographs, videos, and related media captured by Sufyan Mussood Studios remain the intellectual property of Sufyan Mussood Studios (Multimedia Masters Ltd), unless a separate, signed agreement states otherwise.

By default, Sufyan Mussood Studios retains full rights to use any media created for:

  • Social media promotion

  • Website and portfolio presentation

  • Advertising and marketing purposes

  • Showreels and internal training

We do not operate a ‘keepsake service’ or offer automatic content exclusivity.

2. Client Usage

Clients may use delivered content for personal, commercial, or internal use based on the terms agreed upon in their specific project or licensing agreement. However, usage does not extend to resale, sublicensing, or redistribution unless explicitly agreed in writing.

If clients require exclusive usage rights, or intend to use the content for public marketing or brand promotion, a separate usage licence or buyout agreement must be signed in advance. This agreement may involve an additional fee depending on scope and intended use.

3. Social Media Tags & Credit

When content is shared publicly on social media by clients or collaborators, we kindly ask that Sufyan Mussood Studios is credited (where appropriate), typically by tagging our official account or including a brief mention. This helps maintain transparency and gives proper credit to the creator.

4. Opting Out of Promotion

If a client wishes to restrict us from using certain images or videos for promotional purposes, this must be agreed in writing and signed by both parties before the project is delivered. Without such an agreement, all content may be used at our discretion for brand visibility and marketing.

5. Third-Party Requests

We do not grant third-party access to the content (e.g. venues, suppliers, publications) without the client’s knowledge. However, clients may authorise us to share content with third parties if agreed beforehand or if it benefits both parties commercially.
